Dieter von Ditzingen is a gorgeous 4 month old Tri-pawd German Shepherd puppy. He has earned the name “loverboy” from his foster family, as he is incredibly affectionate and sweet. He has a strong spirit and is incredibly resilient. After having his back leg removed, he was up and running around the next day trying to play with his 3 furry foster brothers and sisters. At 4 months old, he is all puppy and loves his chew toys and will run and play tug-a-war for hours with his favorite furry foster sister. Dieter potty trained in 3 days, and is very smart and willing to learn, if you have the patience to work with his puppy attention span. Dieter would love to be in a home with a playful fur brother or sister to teach him the ropes and be his playmate.
Dieter was originally sold to someone for $1,600, according to the breeder he was returned with an injured leg. Even our gifted orthopedic surgeon said there was no saving the leg. Dieter found his freedom after his surgery; he was so tired of dragging a stiff leg around. So don’t feel sorry for him, he is happy as can be with the ability to run and play like the other puppies! You will be amazed watching the videos of him playing!
